Back on the throne

Drum throne that is. I am a drummer. I played in a band back in Houston … loved it! If “dancing” is defined as moving your body as an expression of enjoyment of music, then sitting behind my drum kit jamming out is my form of dance. Behind my kit … I am totally at ease, safe, comfortable. It seems to be my place.
It’s been a while since I have played, and I have seriously been itching to get back into it. So, I did what needed to be done … I went out yesterday and bought a kit. This morning I signed on to my computer, and started answering ads for bands looking for drummers. I already have had two responses and I already have a tryout scheduled with one band.
